When it comes to teaching kids to love reading, it may be hard to believe that doing something as simple as reading aloud can matter so much.
By reading to children at a very young age, parents demonstrate that reading is important. Reading, talking, and sharing your thoughts about books encourages children to think and promotes vocabulary development and higher-level thinking.
