Description
The public is invited to tour the Governor's Residence during the months of April, May, June, July, September and October on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 10a and 2p. Tours are led by a docent at no charge - reservations are required.
To schedule a tour, call the tour line at 717-772-9130. Please have the following information available when you call:
- Preferred date and time
- Name of group or organization
- Number of visitors
- Mailing address, telephone number and email address
- Special needs (The Governor's Residence meets ADA requirements)
Tour parking is available directly in front of the Governor's Residence on Second Street. Bus parking is available on the south side of Maclay Street, east of the Residence Guard House.
All tour groups should arrive approximately ten minutes prior to their scheduled tour time. The tour leader should check in with the officer-in-charge at the Second Street gate. Tour groups must enter the Residence grounds together.
Backpacks or large totes are also not permitted. Security measures are in place for all tours.
