Macaroni KID Festival Survival Tips

  • Make a lost-kid plan before you arrive. Pick a meeting spot, show kids what event staff/security look like, and write your phone number on a bracelet, sticker, or card for younger kids.
  • Take a photo before you go in. Snap a quick picture of each child so you know exactly what they are wearing if the crowd eats your memory like a cotton-candy goblin.
  • Pack the tiny essentials. Water, wipes, sunscreen, snacks, ear protection, and a backup outfit can save the whole day.
  • For neurodivergent families: Check maps ahead of time, identify quieter spaces, bring headphones or comfort items, and give kids a preview of what to expect before you arrive.
