Proudly PA! at Fort Hunter Park
Saturday, June 13, 2026 | 1 PM to 8 PM | Fort Hunter Park

Proudly PA! is a full day along the Susquehanna River celebrating the music, food, drinks, makers, and general “Pennsylvania is weirdly wonderful and we’re here for it” energy that makes this state feel like home.
Hosted at scenic Fort Hunter Park, this festival features live music from Pennsylvania-connected performers, food trucks, wineries, breweries, distilleries, craft vendors, and plenty of room to spread out with blankets, chairs, snacks, and kids who may or may not decide the lawn is their personal dance floor.

Top Picks for Families
Live Music All Day

The 2026 entertainment lineup includes The Wild Hymns, The Circa 68, Snacktime, and Low Cut Connie on the M&T Bank Main Stage, plus performances from Izzy Butters and Ethan Eckenroad on the Corncrib Stage.
Parent hack: Bring chairs or a blanket and claim a home base. This is the kind of event where kids can snack, dance, wander nearby, and then return to refuel like tiny festival raccoons.
Pennsylvania Food, Sweets & Festival Snacks

Food trucks and dessert vendors will be available, with plenty of savory and sweet options for families who believe festivals are best experienced one snack at a time.
Parent hack: Picnic baskets are permitted, but there will be food available for purchase. Outside alcohol is not allowed.
Wine, Beer & Spirits for the Grownups

Proudly PA! includes wineries, breweries, and distilleries from across the state, plus each paid guest receives a souvenir event glass.
Parent hack: This is a great “bring another grownup” event. One adult can wrangle the snack goblins while the other samples something local and lovely.
Room to Dance, Wander & Reset

Fort Hunter Park gives families space to spread out, move around, and enjoy the festival without feeling trapped in a shoulder-to-shoulder crowd. For kids who need wiggle room, this matters.
Parent hack: Pack a change of clothes or a light rain layer. This event is rain or shine, and sometimes the best family memories arrive wearing wet sneakers.
Tips for Visiting with Kids
- Bring lawn chairs or a blanket. You will want a comfortable landing spot.
- Pack snacks and water. Food vendors will be available, but emergency snacks remain the duct tape of parenting.
- Bring rain gear. The event is rain or shine, and Pennsylvania weather likes to improvise.
- Use Fort Hunter’s open space. Let kids take dance breaks, walking breaks, and snack breaks.
- Bring cash or a card. Food, vendors, and tastings will be available for purchase.
- Leave dogs at home. Dauphin County asks that pets not attend this event.
Business Review
Our Macaroni KID Experience

The skies opened. The chairs folded. The ponchos emerged.
And still, River said, “I came to dance, and dance I shall.”
It was not just a drizzle. It was a full-blown Pennsylvania-powered downpour. But that did not stop this tiny storm chaser from twirling her butterfly dress straight into festival legend status at Dauphin County Parks & Recreation’s Proudly PA!
Special thanks to the fabulous Sara Spicer, who unleashed the kind of rainproof vocals that made even the worms come up for a listen and pulled out dance moves that turned the soggy lawn into River’s stage.
Moral of the story: You cannot rain on River’s parade. You can, however, expect her to splash through yours.
Also, shoutout to our good friends at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts for letting us crash the VIP tent when the baby needed to bail water out of the BOB.
