Books, books, and more books! On January 20th, Whitaker Center is hosting the MLK Day of Reading in partnership with the American Literacy Corporation. With nearly 20 reading locations and a grand finale at Whitaker, this event offers something for everyone—and kids under 12 leave with a brand-new book. Pro tip: bring a tote bag. And maybe some tissues—there’s nothing quite like watching a kid light up over their very own book.

Winter Glow Exhibit

Starting January 17th, Whitaker Center will literally light up your imagination with its Winter Glow Exhibit. Glow-in-the-dark experiments, mesmerizing installations, and interactive displays make this exhibit an unforgettable experience for kids and adults alike.
