It's time to set your cares aside, pack the kids and their favorite loveys, and head to Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana in the beautiful Dominican Republic. It's time to have the family vacation you want. The one that's fun, relaxing, filled with great food and drinks, and where you can step away with your family and enjoy some precious time together.

Over The Top Hospitality
Walking through any resort lobby, it's pretty typical to see a family checking in. What's not so typical of other resorts is to see Gabriel, the Island Ambassador, with his guitar playing a song and singing to entertain an adorable little girl in a stroller while her parents wrap up the check-in process. The little girl looked so happy and was bopping right along with Gabriel. Throughout our stay, we ran into Gabriel several times - always with a smile on his face, a quick joke, his guitar, and looking like he is having an absolute blast hanging out with guests. He quickly became my go-to person for a suggestion for my next cocktail or meal.
One of my favorite things was to ask the bartenders at the swim-up bar to make me their favorite cocktail to make. I had plenty of amazing cocktails and smoothies and was never disappointed!

Plenty of Options
Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana offers a diverse range of options for guests to enjoy, from relaxing on the beach to exciting water activities, delicious food and drinks, and live music and entertainment. One of the standout features of the resort is the flexibility it offers guests in terms of creating their own itinerary and enjoying activities that suit their interests and preferences.
The resort also provides plenty of cabanas and loungers that are easy to find, spacious enough for families with kids, and located near the pools and other fun, making it easy to take a break from the sun and enjoy a quick break in the shade. It was so easy to hop off my swing at the bar and to enjoy a book in the cabana to relax a little before dinner.
Another added bonus for guests staying at Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana is Joe Merchant's, a small shop located on the resort. Guests are provided points to use at the shop, making it incredibly easy to customize your mini bar with drinks, snacks, and other goodies to enjoy during your stay. Joe Merchant's also includes a variety of pastries, sandwiches, coffees, fruit as more at no additional charge that are grab and go. I loved being able to enjoy a quick walk to Joe Merchant's anytime I was craving a dessert, tea, or quick bite.

Kid Friendly Fun
The Parakeet Kids' Club is a fantastic option for parents who want to enjoy some alone time while their children have a fun and supervised experience. The variety of activities offered, such as cooking classes and movie nights, is sure to keep kids entertained and engaged. When we toured the space Carol showed us all of the lounge spots, games, activities and the amazing outdoor space. I love that kids have both indoor and outdoor places to play and aren't stuck inside if they don't want to be. Everything was well thought out - down to the smaller toilets and sinks so kids have an easier time in the bathroom.
The teen lounge offered video game options, table games, sports equipment to check out and a fun space to get away from parents and siblings and just hang with kids your own age.
It was so nice to see even the smallest of kiddos enjoying live bands at night on several different nights. Parents and kids could both easily unwind after a fun day to enjoy live entertainment, a smoothie or a cocktail and some great music. We saw many families that included grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins.
Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana is a no-brainer when it comes to finding your family fun at an all-inclusive. With something for everyone and an always-changing schedule of live music, games, activities pool parties & more, there is always something fun happening to enjoy.
