Just when I feel like we’re finally getting into the swing of things with summer, it’s time to start thinking about going back to school already. After the last school year where my kids each had different schedules and were sometimes home and sometimes in school, our usual stockpile of school supplies in our house is pretty depleted. I like to stock up when I find a good deal to save a few bucks for the coming year, but this last year of hybrid schooling really made that hard.

While still managing to work, have fun with the kids this summer, and keep things as stress-free as possible, I need to stock up on school supplies for three kids and pick up a little extra for our stock at home, but I don’t want to break the bank doing so. After the kids got out of basketball camp we ran to Walmart on the Carlisle Pike to grab the free back-to-school offers from Ibotta while we were picking up a few other things. The kids got a kick out of walking through the aisles searching for their favorite color notebook, favorite type of peanut butter and jelly, and grabbing everything from the free offers.

I love that in each offer in the Ibotta app there is a barcode scanner so we can scan each item to be sure we're grabbing the correct item and won't have to deal with a mix-up later on. While the cash back on school supplies is super nice, Ibotta also offers cash back at tons of other retailers I know I'll be shopping at for back to school, including Old Navy, Target, DICK's Sporting Goods, and more! I like that I can earn cash back at so many different retailers and it's just EASY. Ibotta doesn't make you jump through a ton of hoops to use the offers – everything is spelled out so easily in each offer and shows you exactly where you can purchase each item and how.
