Summer is almost upon us and we’ve got your destination for Friday night fun each week!
The Sunset Movie & Music Series at Fort Hunter Park in Harrisburg is your ticket to family fun every Friday from June - August! Each week will feature either an outdoor movie or a live performance! Food trucks will also be onsite, with some of your favorite foods.
Events are FREE to attend thanks to the generosity of the program sponsors: Capital Blue Cross, and Renewal by Andersen of Central PA.
Movies include: “Trolls World Tour,” “Hotel For Dogs,” “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” “The Polar Express,” “The Neverending Story,” and the “Bee Movie.”
Live Performances include Susquehanna Chorale Present “Through Love to Light.”; Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra Presents the Hot House Jazz Trio; Central PA Music Hall of Fame Presents Dandy; Central PA Friends of Jazz Presents the Harrisburg Jazz Orchestra; Gamut Theatre Presents TMI Improv; Open Stage of Harrisburg Presents A Broadway Cabaret and Susquehanna Folk Music Society Presents Colebrook Road.
Dauphin County Gives Back - Help give back to the community by supporting a non-profit partner. Each week a different non-profit partner will be recognized and included in the festivities. Covid-19 prevented many live events last year, this is a chance for those in the community to give back by considering a donation or membership to assist these organizations.
