The Dauphin County Library System is participating in ENGINE of Central PA’s Remake Learning Days. Starting on May 6 through May 16, families can visit any of The Library’s eight locations to pick up a STEAM Punks Take and Make kit. These kits, based on The Library’s popular STEAM Punks program, will include things to make, do and talk about as a family.

Remake Learning Days in Central Pennsylvania combines the efforts of several organizations, businesses, and community centers to provide families in the community with innovative learning experiences.

Remake Learning Days events are designed to be hands-on, relevant, and engaging educational experiences for children of all ages (pre-Kindergarten through high school) and their families, caregivers, and educators. Most of the events are free and open to kids of all ages.

Events are organized by different learning themes – Arts, Maker, Outdoor Learning, Science, Technology and Youth Voice. There are also professional development sessions for school, out-of-school, childcare, and non-traditional educators.
