The public is invited to the Community Thanksgiving Celebration and Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 24th. Many New Cumberland Churches are joining together to host this event. The lighting of the town Christmas tree will be at 5:30 PM at Elkwood Park at 7th and Bridge Streets.
After the tree lighting there is a FREE Community Thanksgiving Dinner at 6:00 PM at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 524 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA. A combined worship service will follow the dinner at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. The meal and worship will be provided by Baughman United Methodist Church, Community United Methodist, New Cumberland First Church of God, Red Land Baptist Church, St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Saint Theresa Catholic Church, and Trinity United Methodist Church.
