Where can you find 35 incredible food trucks, celebrities, all kinds of activities, great entertainment plus so much more coming together to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy? The 5th Annual Wish Upon a Food Truck Festival will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the AACA Museum, Inc. 161 Museum Drive, Hershey (off Rt. #39).
The 2019 Wish Upon a Food Truck Festival is excited to announce that Chef Edmund “Eddie” Konrad from Bravo TV’s “Top Chef” and Chef Danielle McNerney – Food Network’s Junior “Chopped” Champion along with ten wonderful media celebrities will be joining us this year. Immediately following the Cake raffle, Chef Eddie and Chef Danielle will be holding the 1st Food Truck Awards. They will be doing tastings from participating food trucks and then awarding prizes in several different categories. Come out and cheer on your favorite food trucks as they compete to win these special awards.
It will also include children's activities, children's characters, entertainment by Timeless and the Dave Root Band and an outstanding DJ from Mixed Up Productions, vendors and a great raffle, demonstrations on Ninja Warrior equipment by Ninja Warriors, plus many other activities.
Admission and parking for the Food Truck Festival is free. There will be tip jars at each of the food trucks and vendors and all tips donated that day will go towards wishes for Make-A-Wish children. You are also invited to take part in a special scavenger hunt taking place in the AACA Museum, Inc. with a cash prize and a prize of a TV to be awarded. Admission to the museum and your ticket to take part in the Scavenger Hunt is $10 per adult. Children are free with each paying adult. The Scavenger Hunt takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 100% of the proceeds of the Wish Upon a Food Truck Festival is donated to be used for wishes for Make-A-Wish children. There will be a free Children's Scavenger Hunt on the Food Truck Festival grounds and each child that completes it can pick from a small prize (while supplies last).
There will be a variety of yummy food trucks - including some of your favorites from past years. There will even be a “Doggie Delight” truck so you can take dog treats home for your furry family members. Also new this year is that J & P Winery will be offering Wine and Wine Slushies at the event. There will be many wonderful vendors for you to visit at the event too.
