Diggerland USA - The Ultimate Construction Theme Park

Find your family fun at Diggerland USA

Located a little over a 2.5 ride from the Harrisburg area, it's an easy drive down to West Berlin, NJ to visit Diggerland, the construction equipment themed amusement park built for families. Inside Diggerland, you'll find dozens of rides and attractions for kids and adults that let you dig, race, spin and enjoy a day as a family on a variety of construction equipment.

Offering thirteen rides or attractions for those over 36" in height and six rides or attractions for those over 42" there are many opportunities to hop on a ride powered by your favorite construction vehicle for a thrill. For those under 36" in height there is a fun playground and arcade to enjoy. New for 2018, there will be five additional rides or attractions opening, three for those over 36" and two for those over 42". In my experience with our recent visit, if you have a child under 36" visiting with you it would be great to have a plan on who is going to the playground or for a walk around the park with them while the others in your group ride the attractions. My daughter would have spent her whole day at the playground or arcade if we let her.

My older son, who prefers to stay inside his comfort zone absolutely fell in love with the ropes course at Diggerland. The Ropes Course is unique in that everyone on the course is not required to complete a specific course beginning to end. You have the freedom to go up or down levels and try different avenues all on your own. Throughout the course were various Diggerland employees offering help or suggestions, but the participants were mostly left to follow the avenue they found most comfortable. Our oldest spent the majority of his time on the very tippy top level of the course and tried many of the more difficult crossings. It was fabulous to see our son come out of his shell so quickly with a new activity and to excel at it. We had to beg him to come down when the park was nearing closing time. He had an absolute blast and frequently talks about how amazing the ropes course was.

Our middle son loved all of the rides that spun him or gave a thrill rush. His favorites were the Dig-a-round, Sky Shuttle and Spin Dizzy. He begged and begged to keep hopping back in line for the Dig-a-round, forwards & backwards, he loved it all. One of his other favorites was the rock wall. He got a kick out of making it a competition between him and the older/taller kids beside him to see who could get to the top the fastest.
