May 25, 2016
Held annually in the beautiful Riverfront Park in downtown Harrisburg, PennLive/Patriot-News ArtsFest is one of my family's favorite Memorial Day weekend traditions. Each year we love walking through the hundreds of juried artists, live music, food vendors & special area for kids. There truly is something for everyone!

  • Sunday, May 29: 10am - 7pm
  • Monday, May 30: 10am - 5pm

WHERE

All of the fun will happen along Riverfront Park in Harrisburg, between the Market Street Bridge and Harvey Tailor Bridge. Vendors will line up along Front Street & in the grass along Riverfront Park. For a detailed map, please click here. Front Street will be closed to vehicle traffic

PARKING

Most alleys between Market St & Forster St are closed between Front St & Second St, but there is still plenty of available parking in city parking garages, city streets and City Island.  City meters will charge on Saturday, but are free on both Sunday & Monday per their website, parking on City Island will be $5 all weekend & parking garages will charge normal rates during the entire festival.

KIDSFEST
Head towards the Market St bridge where you'll find KidsFest, a special area geared towards the youngest ones in your family. There will be kid-themed vendors & a full schedule of events, including Popcorn Hat Players, Magicians, music & more! To view the full schedule, please click here.

There will be more than 250 artists who use a variety of mediums to create clothes, jewelry, wall hangings, furniture & more! You are guaranteed to find unique pieces you'll fall in love with. To find out which artists to expect, please check the full list.

RESTROOMS
Porta Pottys will be available near KidsFest/Market St Bridge, Barbara Street, Front Street near Kunkel Plaza & North Street. There will be handicap accessible Porta Pottys at those locations as well.

PRIDE OF THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVERBOAT
The Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat will be offering their popular 45 minute sightseeing tours on the Susquehanna all weekend long. The deck of The Pride is a great spot to catch the beautiful scenery along the river, or pop downstairs for a quick drink or snack inside the lounge area.
