Teen Volunteers wanted at The Hershey Story this Summer

May 28, 2015
The Hershey Story invites students ages 12 to 15 to serve as summer volunteers as part of its “Past Master” program. The program gives participants valuable pre-job experience and acquaints them with museum operations.

Students who are interested especially in learning about history and museums are encouraged to apply. Past Masters assist guests visiting The Hershey Story in a variety of ways, including providing interactive experiences within the exhibits, answering questions and helping with special programs for camp groups and families. During any given day they may explain to guests how chocolate is made using props and visuals, or help young visitors use historical chocolate factory equipment.

Volunteer positions are limited; for more information and to obtain an application, please contact Lois Miklas, lmiklas@hersheystory.org or 717.520.5587.
