Harrisburg Celebrates Labor Day Weekend with Kipona Festival

August 30 - September 1

August 26, 2014
This year will bring some changes to Harrisburg's beloved Kipona Festival. Instead of a variety of artisans, food vendors and entertainment lined up on Front Street and Riverfront Park with some special events happening on City Island, most of the events and entertainment have moved to City Island with a few events now happening at Riverfront Park.

Some of your favorite events like the Chili Cook-off, Native American Festival and Martial Arts Championships will still be happening, but there will be less vendors and artisans than years past, and they will be set up on City Island.

Parking will be free on City Island and at the Riverfront Garage all weekend, along with free meter parking Sunday & Monday.

Below are some highlighted events for this year's Kipona Festival. For full schedule or more details, please click here.
