Light the Night Walk
Benefits Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
As someone who has lost a family member to a blood cancer, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is near and dear to my heart. I can't begin to tell you how much LLS means to those who have and are affected by blood cancer. Every little bit we can do to help further their cause, the better someone's life will be.
Every year, teams and individuals from the greater Harrisburg area join together on City Island, Harrisburg to raise money and walk to support the efforts of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The walk this year will be held on November 3rd.
Funds raised from this walk benefit people right here, in our local community. Funds help comprehensive assistance through LLS's Information Resource Center, local programs like support groups and peer to peer counseling programs, free events & information or patients & their family, life saving blood cancer research & so much more.
