My oldest went back to school on Monday, then on Tuesday my middle child told me he no longer needed me to set the table for lunch, cut his grilled cheese, or make the grilled cheese. He only wanted (and needed) my help getting the sandwich out of the pan. Time is a cruel, cruel trick for parents. While I'm thrilled for all of the things they're learning & doing, watching your babies grow up is bittersweet for sure.
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you'll notice that we've been playing Pokémon Go at a bunch of the local parks lately, so I put together a list of 10+ great spots to play Pokémon Go as a family in Harrisburg & West Shore. Walking blocks & blocks with a double stroller & three kids isn't always doable, so I listed our favorite spots that have multiple PokéStops or gyms and that we've had pretty good luck finding wild Pokémon at. Most of these spots happen to be places we like visiting anyways, they have playgrounds, hiking trails, picnic spots & more!
Also, I had the privilege of traveling to Bowling Green, Kentucky last week with forty other Macaroni Kid publishers from across the country to check out the sights, attractions, and of course food & drink in beautiful Bowling Green.
