Marysville Lions Club Carnival: Fun for the Whole Family!

Where can you find 70+ rides, games and other amusements, live nightly musical entertainment, and a variety of great food all in one place? 

The Marysville Lions Club will hold its 71st annual Carnival next week, Monday to Saturday, Aug. 1 to 6, at 6 p.m. nightly. It’s fun for the whole family, local and affordable. 


Live musical entertainment will be provided by the following local bands: 
  • Monday, Aug. 1 – Colt Wilbur Band (country) 
  • Tuesday, Aug. 2 – Element 22 (‘80s, ‘90s and today)
  • Wednesday, Aug. 3 – Richie Fields (country)
  • Thursday, Aug. 4 – North Mountain Ramblers (blue grass) 
  • Friday, Aug. 5 – Michael Christopher (country rock)
  • Saturday, Aug. 6 – Lost Love Horizon (classic country)
In addition, a fireworks display will be presented Friday evening at 11:15. 

At the carnival, raffle tickets will be on sale to win $5,000 cash or $7,500 toward a new car at Forrer Dodge in Duncannon. In addition, drawings will be held each night for $100 cash prizes. 

Admission is free. There is a $3 parking fee. Attendees can purchase a daily $17 ticket good for all rides, or purchase tickets for individual rides. Advance tickets for $15 can be purchased through eventbrite.com. 
Proceeds from the carnival support local Lions Club charitable projects, as well as Lions Club International works. 

The carnival will be held on the Lions Club grounds along Routes 11 & 15 in Marysville.
