Antique Automobile Club of America Museum (AACA Museum) will be opening the doors for families to check out holiday displays and enjoy special holiday happenings this winter!
AACA Museum will be decking the halls with dozens of themed Christmas Trees, decorated by local school students, vintage cars & toys, unusual vehicles, Hess Truck Display, Model Train exhibits, Sammy the 29 foot snow plow, Grinch Scavenger Hunt & much more!
Each year AACA Museum partners with local schools to have students decorate a themed Christmas Tree with ornaments they create. Don't forget to vote for your favorites while visiting AACA Museum - the top three schools will receive gift cards!
New this year is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - the US National Broadway Tour prop car and additional memorabilia items on display - including several toy versions of the famous car! Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is based upon a vintage racing car that was featured in many forms including the original novel by Ian Fleming, movie and stage productions.
Also visiting AACA Museum for the winter is a giant pedal car, modeled after the small pedal cars we all know and love.
They say that the best things come in small packages – this exhibit will feature a variety of micro and mini cars that are sure to delight! By recognizing that not everything needs to be BIG, the Museum has carefully selected a variety of these microscopic machines that are sure to make visitors crack a smile, point and giggle, and snap a selfie or two. This exhibit will be at AACA Museum November 21 - April 22 so you have plenty of time over the winter & spring to visit!
Visit AACA Museum on December 6th from 5p-8p to enjoy a fun Polar Express Pajama Party for the whole family. When you arrive at the party families will be greeted by a railroad conductor who will stamp their golden ticket before they can enjoy a tour of the AACA Museum - including the Polar Express model train display, along with several other train displays, dozens of decorated trees & more in our holiday wonderland. Pillows, pajamas, blankets & stuffed animals are encouraged!
Admission to Polar Express Pajama Party includes kid friendly food - hot dogs, popcorn, pizza, & hot chocolate. A showing of "The Polar Express" will begin at 6p and will last 90 minutes.
Keep your eyes open for a special holly, jolly, bearded visitor - rumor has it Santa will be making a visit if he gets his work in the North Pole taken care of.
