Live Nativities in the Harrisburg & West Shore area

November 25, 2015
Many local churches in our area host live nativities each year and welcome your family to come for a visit. Here are some great options in our area!

November 29: 6:30pm

Live Nativity at Silver Spring Presbyterian Church
  • From 6:30-7:30 p.m., travel in your car down the luminary lit path back to the time of Jesus' birth. Hear Amy Grant sing “Breath of Heaven,” along with scripture reading, as you see Joseph and Mary ride on a real donkey traveling on their way to Bethlehem. Continue around the Christian Education building and see shepherds abiding in the fields with their sheep. The end of your journey will lead to a humble stable in Bethlehem, the “Live Nativity.” Shortly after 7:30 p.m., when parking will be made available, we welcome people to gather at the manger for a Christmas Celebration. There will be warm drinks and beautiful Christmas music, while we watch Mary and Joseph arrive with baby Jesus. Enjoy singing Christmas carols led by Heidi Kenyon and petting all the animals which may include sheep, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, and even a goose!
