Where can you find 70+ rides, games and other amusements, live nightly musical entertainment, Bingo and a variety of great food all in one place?
The Marysville Lions Club will hold its 70th annual Carnival, Monday, July 27 to Saturday, Aug. 1, at 6 p.m. nightly. It’s fun for the whole family, local and affordable.
Live musical entertainment will be provided by the following local bands:
- Monday, July 27 – Colt Wilbur Band (country)
- Tuesday, July 28 – Element 22 (‘80s, ‘90s and today)
- Wednesday, July 29 – Laredo Country (country rock)
- Thursday, July 30 – That Band (pop radio hits)
- Friday, July 31 – Darkside on Tap (classic rock)
- Saturday, Aug. 1 – Michael Christopher Band (country)
In addition, a fireworks display will be presented Friday evening at 11:15.
At the carnival, raffle tickets will be on sale to win a $10,000 cash prize, or $12,500 toward a vehicle of the winner’s choice at Forrer Dodge in Duncannon. In addition, drawings will be held each night for $100 cash prizes.
Admission is free. There is a $3 parking fee. Attendees can purchase a daily $17 ticket good for all rides, or purchase tickets for individual rides. Advance tickets for $15 can be purchased through eventbrite.com.
Proceeds from the carnival support local Lions Club charitable projects, as well as Lions Club International works.
The carnival will be held on the Lions Club grounds along Routes 11 & 15 in Marysville.
